Mark Brigden is a strategist and creative communications specialist. He utilises these skills across multimedia and business outlets with one focus – success.
His extensive business, marketing and financial servies career culminated in his appointment and current role as Chairman of a public company, Thompson Couplings Pty Ltd, after serving as a Director on their Board since 2012.
Mark has a passion for learning – with an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Southern Cross University, a Graduate Diploma of International Sports Management, a Diploma in Business Coaching and numerous marketing and other Diplomas.
He is a leading Australian Business Coach, Mentor and Strategist having helped numerous small businesses survive and thrive. As well as personalised attention, he provides online courses (networking, marketing and business planning) and is a published author of “Become a Game Changer: The Business Playbook for the Internet Era.” As such he’s also an accomplished and experienced public speaker and presenter.
Mark’s love of sport and sports media has seen him fulfill many roles including sports journalist for newspapers and magazines, producer and host of a sports radio programme, producer and host of a leading football podcast, match commentator and club President. As well as his lifelong passion for soccer he enjoyed participating in many sports, including judo, swimming, triathlons and surfing. One highlight was playing indoor soccer (futsal) against the Japanese national team. Whilst he is a lot slower these days, he continues his connection with soccer through an online memorabilia store, Premier Sports Memorabilia, selling autographed jerseys of the teams he loves (and Arsenal).
Mark’s creative juices sparked when the opportunity arose to work with a talented writing partner at Development Producers creating content and concepts for TV shows. Their combined creative-thought processes have resulted in several exciting proposals under development.
His other passions include Manchester United, Hawaii, chocolate and the conspiracy behind the assassinations of President John F Kennedy and Senator Robert Kennedy.
